FAQ

The questions that decide whether to call.

Fees, independence, and who actually shows up. If your question is more specific than this, that is what the consultation is for.

Do you resell software licenses?

No. Calder Holm does not sell ERP licenses and does not take a quota from a publisher. Practitioners on our programs hold current certifications. The advice does not.

Which platforms do you implement?

SAP S/4HANA, Oracle Fusion and NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics 365, and Infor CloudSuite, plus the integration layers those estates actually use. We decline work on platforms we do not know in production.

Is this only for large enterprises?

No. The typical client is a mid-market operator with several entities, or an enterprise unit tired of a program that has lost its point. If a six-week Orient would be theater, we will say so.

How do you charge?

Orient is a fixed fee. Programs are milestone fees tied to design, rehearsal, and release — not an open meter of hours. Keep is an annual cadence. You will see the commercial shape before you see a team chart.

How long does an implementation take?

A single-entity, well-bounded program is often two to three quarters after selection. Multi-site manufacturing and healthcare supply take longer, and we would rather say so in Orient than discover it in month nine.

Will we meet the people who do the work?

Yes. The partners and principals who sell the work are on the work. If a specialist joins, you meet them before they are staffed. We do not rotate strangers through a program to fill a plan.

Can you join a program that is already in flight?

Often, and only with a point of view. We will not decorate a troubled program with more status meetings. Expect a short diagnosis and a recommendation that may include stopping.

What happens in the first conversation?

Forty-five minutes with a partner. We will ask what is numerically wrong, who disagrees, and what you have already promised the board. You will leave with a view on whether Orient is the right next step.

Where do you work?

Chicago, London, and Singapore, on programs elsewhere. Design workshops are in person when the decisions are hard. The rest of the cadence is wherever your operators are.
